last bits of summer

after a weekend of roasting temperatures and a naked baby playing in the backyard, we took a trip to the beach with some dear friends to soak in a little more summer this morning. the weatherman says it's going to rain wednesday. maybe then it'll actually feel like fall.

we're not complaining either way. we sure love sunny days but cozy, rainy ones are alright by us, too.

yes, a little rain and mist is a-ok with me. I still have a foot stuck in summer, but gosh I do love Fall. Mmmmm. xoxo

i'm the me of bonzo, chooch and me.

my name is sara... i'm also chooch's wife and the mommy to bonzo and mushy.

chooch is short for choo choo, which came from train, which came from

a-train. we've known each other for well over half our lives, been together for ten years and married for five.

bonzo is what we've been known to call d from time to time. one day it just stuck, as the best nicknames usually do.

and the three of us became four when baby was born. she's bonzo's baby sister, our little junebug, ours baby – we call her mushy. and just like that we went from bonzo, chooch and me to bonzo, chooch, mushy and me.

both my guys – and my baby girl – are pretty rad. if you don't already know firsthand, you'll read it for yourself here – along with stuff about what inspires me and what i do, think, like and love.
